Warman
Homes - Estimated yearly sales 50 plus RTM Homes
This RTM Builder
is the leader in the Saskatoon market for both sales and
quality of their RTM Homes. With over 20 years of RTM industry experience
they have developed marketing and production systems to successfully
pre-sell 'Custom Built' RTM Homes.
Technically Warman
Homes is a home center integrated RTM Builder that operates
within a retail home center environment. However the bulk of their
home center sales result from supplying their own home building
operations.
Practically Warman
Homes is more like an independent RTM Builder that owns
a retail home center which, in turn, allows them to achieve vertical
supply chain integration to increase profitability.
Warman Homes has
expanded its RTM Home market to Fort McMurray Alberta
to address new home shortages there caused by a lack of home builders
and labor trades. They are now delivering RTM Homes built in Warman
SK 600 miles to supply this market.
Warman Homes builds
their RTM Homes built out of Warman SK, a Saskatoon bedroom
community of 1,500 people.
J&H
Homes - Estimated yearly sales 50 plus RTM Homes
J&H Homes
is a home center integrated RTM Builder that has developed
their RTM Home business by following the lead of Warman Homes. However
their ability to compete in the pre-sold 'Custom Built' RTM Home
market is not as highly developed even though they have 20 plus
years of experience.
Critical to the
success of J&H Homes is their commitment to follow
a one RTM Home per week production schedule even if it results in
an inventory of 'stock' RTM Homes that may sometimes number 20 or
30.
While more capital
intensive than a pre-sold, 'Custom Built' RTM Homes business
model, the ability to year after year sell these 'stock' RTM Homes
makes the J&H Homes RTM Builder operation profitable.
J&H Homes,
like Warman Homes, has expanded its RTM Home market to
Fort McMurray Alberta and are now selling RTM Homes to meet a housing
demand 600 miles from their production facility.
McDiarmid
RTM Homes - Estimated yearly sales not known
This home center
integrated RTM Builder that failed to dominate the Yorkton
RTM Home market has recently located in Saskatoon near J&H Homes.
McDiarmid Homes may be more successful here as the RTM Home market
is less sophisticated than in Yorkton.
McDiarmid RTM
Homes is currently producing most of their RTMs in Yorkton
and delivering them 200 plus miles to Saskatoon for inventory to
be sold off their location there.
Other Saskatoon
RTM Builders - Estimated yearly sales not known
There are a few other RTM
Builders in the Saskatoon area however, unlike in the
Yorkton area, most of these are integrated with home centers. Exact
numbers of RTM Builders and their production capacity is not known.
